Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Since its cold, Ive only been on the trainer. For the last month, my knee has been popping and hurting when I walk. When it bends it pops and hurts at the same time. What the heck have I done. I havnt ridden outside in a month. Its in the Dead center of my knee, directly behind the kneecap. My dominant knee too.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Chris NC

Time to see a doctor.
a) It's been a whole month of pain already. This didn’t self-resolve.
b) There are 3 levels of exercise injury: pain only after activity, pain during and after activity, and pain at other times. You are level 3.
c) Using phrases like “my dominant knee” suggests you may have some imbalances.

You weren't still riding through the pain were you? I've learnt to respect my body a lot this year; it's capable of incredible things but when it complains I listen!

Yeah, there's a difference between suffering and pain...

Another vote for "go see a doctor, as in now." A web forum is not the place to get medical advice.
