Wow, that's just terrible. I hope this doesn't just ruin the rest of your week, I mean, you might want to call a number or something and talk to someone about this problem. Do you need a hug or something? Hey, just remember it could be worse...almost anything could be worse! Putz

Well, at least your local team is not the Raiders!

Born and raised in Chgo here. Still a Bears fan. I agree. Grossman sucks. Great team; maybe medicore QB. Fortunately, we won. But alas, we shouldn't be discussing this on here. On a more relevant note, I got a quick 20 in today out here in the Northern VA (DC suburbs) area. A little outta shape but glad I was able to get out there. Hope you were at least on your trainer or rollers while Rex was stinkin' up Soldier Field.

LOL you are being critical of someone who is really a rookie Qb in terms of playing time?
Try being a lions fan ..... then piss and moan accordingly

So how about posting in Foo where it belongs.........
For one year the Saints actually seem to have it together. But as a long time watcher I am sure they will fall apart at some point. Though Reggie Bush finally had a great game with 4 TD's.

GTFO.
Thank you.
uh, +1 to the OP. the guy just makes really, REALLY, bad decisions. he should not and will not hopefully last as the starter. what would it hurt to see what the 5 million dollar back up can do? if he suck too, then ship the grossman back out there. later.

You think your guy sucks, how'd you like to be a fan of the team you beat? I see at one point Johnson did have a QB rating of 12 while Grossman's was 0. Not sure how their ratings were at the end but Johnson got pulled he was so bad.

Grossman's rating for the game was 1.3! That's the lowest rating for a winning QB in 30 years! The Bears had 107 net yards and still won! Talk about giving away a game, that's what my Vikes did.

We were in a restaurant Saturday evening. They had the UCLA/USC game on. You should have seen the Gator fans getting excited at the end of that game.
I live in Tallahassee, the home of UF's archrival Florida State. UF is the reigning NCAA basketball champion. (The Seminoles beat them last night.) If the Gators win the footbal championship also those Gator fans will be hard to live with.

I thought QB ratings were like the S.A.T.'s. You get some points just for starting a game.... I guess not!
Rex has been hideous for the last 7 games. The defense is just that good, which is the only reason the Bears win these days.
Despite the calls to put Griese in the game, the Bears almost HAVE to stay with Rex so that he can either prove he's a viable playoff QB when January rolls around, or that he's too awful to hang on to. In either case, that's what this season has boiled down to because they have so much time invested in Grossman.
The Bears QB situation has been so gummed up for so long, that they might as well stay with Rex. The list of has-beens is quite distinguished in recent years: Stewart, Hutchinson, Burress, Chandler, Matthews, Miller, McNown (ugh!), Krenzel, Quinn, Stenstrom, et. al. I wouldn't put Orton on there, simply because he did what he was supposed to do last year, which was not screw up too bad. :)
In any case, 10-2 ain't too shabby!
