Road Cycling - Canari?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Anything wrong with Canari jerseys and shorts? Or is it really worth spending the extra money for the fancy stuff?
Thanks
Matt
Matt,
I have 2 Canari jerseys and they're nice, good quality.
Sure they don't have the high
zoot appeal of Assos or Castelli but, who cares? They do the job
they are intended to do. I can't speak for the shorts tho.
If I were going to spend the extra bucks for a jersey I'd opt for a
Castelli wool jersey, but they are way pricey ($139 us).
I do advocate spending more for shorts, in the end
(no pun intended) its well worth the extra cost.

I have a Canari jersey and shorts I use for everyday wear saving the more expensive clothing for special ocassions.Like lotek said the jersey is perfectly functional but not the most expensive materials. For the shorts I have their more expensive 8panel gel model and I like the extra support of these but I did notice some of their less expensive models didn't have much padding and again like lotek said you don't want to go too cheap here.
Canari targets a different market. THey are not to compete with the high priced simply offer inexpensive goods.
Jerseys I would say will pretty much be good for most. However bottoms cannot compare to the higher quality goods like Etxe Ondo, Assos, etc...
But it is all personal preference. I have owned in the past Canari and they are not as durable as many others. They simply do great for the price.
Thanks for the replies guys. I will probably pick up a jersey but go ahead and spend more on shorts. Angain thanks for the info.
