Any Garrett County peeps on this board?
I'm heading out to Deep Creek Lake this weekend with a bunch of friends -- we're renting a house that is a stone's throw from the Wisp Resort. I'm not much of a ski bunny, so I might do some hiking, or maybe snowshoeing (I've never done that.)
But I was wondering if I could bring my bike . . . I know it's godawful cold right now, but how has the snow situation been? Are the road shoulders clear? Any favorite route suggestions? (It's actually a 'cross bike, so I could do some relatively mellow off-road trails, too, if they're not too snowy.)
