I tore the ACL in my right knee and Doc says I will be out for 2 to 3 months as far as bikes go, but I will be out the entire ski season. This sucks!!!!

It's got to be really embarrassing if he's reluctant to give the story. Probably involved hookers, a pony and tapes of Joe McCarthy speeches. It's how these things usually happen.

No, it wasn't that bad. I pulled my right foot out of my pedal and I was pedaling like a mad man. I got up around 20 MPH when it happened. I fipped 3 times with my bike then slid on my right knee for 15 feet. Got some real good road rash, thought I might have brokken my knee cao, and of sourse tore my ACL. All in all it was as bad as I thought it was when I wrecked. I still had 2 miles left to go to get to the house. By the time I got there I was leaving a steady blood trail down the road. Sorry no pony or anything like that.

I tore my left ACL playing volleyball in 1985, that's the $16,000 knee
