well, I have way too many bikes. way way too many bikes. My intentions were good. I'm like the cat lady who thought she could save all of them. the fact is that I can't, and I don't have enough room to store all of them over the winter, or the time to get them all ready for Craigslist. so, I am faced with this option. I'm offering up some whole bikes and parts, FREE for local pickup.
the list so far:
Schwinn Breeze Frame/fork it has been spraypainted (very poorly) someone please save this. If I don't have the fenders, crank, stem, bars, and chainguard off by the time of pick-up they will go with it too.
Schwinn Traveller 3 speed, I believe it's a 1959. mostly complete. it's far from perfect and it's got rust. pics have been posted in Classic and vintage before. missing fenders, light set and maybe some other parts.
Hawthorne (not Ward's Hawthorne) "genuine english lightweight" ladies 26" bike. tires and tubes are total junk. seat is not pretty either. complete except for chainguard.
do not expect perfection, and some things may be far from nice but for the price there is no reason to complain. some of the stuff is very good or at least usable.
there are other things as well, parts, whole or mostly whole bikes and stuff...
I will probably have a Schwinn Suburban frame and parts available soon as well.
and there are things I am trying to sell as well, but they will not be listed here as that would violate the rules of Bikeforums.net
I'm trying to get rid of about 15 bikes. I have much more than I have listed and a lot of it is low end stuff.
Help me!!!!!!!
I'm in Livonia, MI so I'm close to Detroit and Ann Arbor. PM me for details
