Gmaps says thats more of a climb than Calneva. Is it steeper?

never gone up calneva....but encino hills is stupid steep....you will have to swerve around as it has almost no turns....its the closest thing to going straight up a wall ive seen so far...well, woodrow wilson has some steep parts too...

I've gone down Calneva and it was pretty scarry, I was worried that my brakes wouldn't hold out.

Yeah, I think the hollywood hills has steeper (though shorter) climbs than the Santa Monica mountains. (Except Las Flores and it's 1.5 mile stretch where the grade never goes below 10% and spikes up to the low 20% range)

That's why I like the Santa Monica Mountains more (except Las Flores).

Fixer,

Went to lunch at Spain today, and afterword took my co-workers up Baxter in a Honda Accord. We barley made it up and at the creast the driver freeked and went right -- she would not drive down the other side! I guess you had to be in the car cause the look of panic on all their faces was quite funny!

We should hook up at Spain for lunch sometime -- you work weekdays around there? I'm downtown, so very close.

After looking at Fargo and Baxter they are steep but less than a 1/4 mile in length. Never having climbed Calneva, Fargo or Baxter, I wonder which would be more difficult.
