Has anybody had a bad experience with airfreetires.com? They say they'll refund your money if you're not happy with their tires. I ordered a pair back in September. When I couldn't get them on my rims I sent them back for a refund. After a few weeks I emailed to see what happened to my refund. "Hugh" said he had my check in front of him. That was the end of October.

I never got the check. And they've ignored several phone calls and emails from me. Does anybody have any information about these people? Are they going out of business? Also, what can you do when an internet company behaves like this?

If you paid with a credit card, open a dispute with them. Otherwise, you are likely out of luck.

Here's the Better Business Bureau report on them. They've had some complaints.

Why not file a complaint with the BBB. They always check it out and call the company.
It at least will let them know people are watching their bad business practices.

Some of us who have been around this place for a while might remember our old friend Vlad the spammer. Somehow this doesn't surprise me.
