If they had equal components which frame would you prefer for trailriding (no not towpaths, fireroads etc)

94 Trek 7000

or

04 Specialized Hardrock Sport

both aluminum.

The age makes this sound like a silly question (which maybe it is). The trek has been mine since new and it is in decent shape- the specialized I just picked up for a good price... I have liked the trek but wanted to get the experts' (self-proclaimed or otherwise) read on it.

Like my buddy said, "the 7000, it must be better than the other 6999 trek models." who needs friends when...

pheard you told me that i sounded like an 8 year old
just because i dont write on this forum like im going to hand it in to my english teacher doesn't mean you have to complain about it
Yes I told you you post like an 8 year old, that doesn't mean I'm annoyed by you, I was trying to let you know that at least semi-ok grammar is needed for people to understand what you're talking about.

A little offtopic here, but as much as I'm not a fan of redline, they've really stepped it up a notch when it comes to the new Device frame.

4130 sanko tubing.

And i'm not a fan of redline because while they're stuff is good, they could put alot more effort into it. They wont even release the weight of this frame, because it's heavy.
