Foo - 2 word expression, both words start with letter c

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Does anybody know of a 2 word expression, in which both words are english and start with c? It would be used to describe those who are trying to gain acceptance in an 'old money' society, therefor are spending a ton of money to show off.
My history teacher said if we know it, it may be a bonus question we can answer on today's quiz!

Sorry Tom... But the wiki explanation doesn't quite fit it IMHO

What about "Cold cash"?
Well, nouveau riche, except both words don't start with 'c', and neither one is English. Say, this is a tough question.
Conspicuous Consumption?
My first reaction was nouveau riche...
Hope this helps. Let us know what it was!

See Veblen's Theory of the Leisure Class, which is actually readable. Mention that and maybe get bonus points.
I keep telling everyone I'm a genius, but no one ever believes me! :(

Crass Class.
Crass Class.
Say THAT three times fast.
Then try this:
"I'm not the pheasant plucker,
the pheasant plucker's mate.
I'm only plucking pheasants,
'cause the pheasant plucker's late."

Good chance this is it. In surfing the web I found nothing else, except a bit of a lead (if this is not it). Seems Cape Cod is a place where the old money and the nouveau riche are existing in conflict. So it might be a play on Cape Cod. D@mn now I can come up with lots with 3 Cs.
Cape Cod Consumer. Cape Cod Clown.
Heck let's go for 4, put Crass in front.
Oh and on eubi's answer, just in case we are playing Jeopardy like rules, it likely should be Conspicuous Consumer since it should refer to the person, not the act.

OH MAN! That was Double Jeopardy, too. I lost my whole wad...
Oh well...
Alex, I'll take "Bicycles" for $200.
The Cape Cod thing is good, but would be lost out here in sunny SoCal. But then, PC is in Vermont, or NH, or one of those states that are smaller than the county in which I live...

It was conspicuous consumption indeed.
Ah, Eubi-won Kenobi, the force was indeed with you.
Ah yes, my young Padawans. You have learned well. Take a bike ride to clear your minds.
And Force, as we know, is mass X acceleration...but that's another thread...

It would have been cool if you had been talking about Cargo Cults!
