I am looking to update my several-year-old training software, as it does not allow me to enter or analyze intervals. I am running a Polar S710, so download capacity is also a must, but that seems universal for all software these days.

What are people using to track their training and time on the bike? I would like to purchase for Jan 1, and start new...
Thanks!

I too have the S710 ... here's a few I can think of off hand. I am sure there are others out there.

CyclingPeaks allows for download, I have never used it, but they have a demo available on their website ... www.cyclingpeaks.com

Cambiatta was very cool software that used to allow for download from Polar HRMs but doesn't appear to anymore and I can't get a hold of them so I would be skeptical of using them. www.cambiatta.com

Polar's proprietary software obviously does it but is fairly featureless beyond that ... I understand they've come out with a new version but I haven't tried it yet. Both of which have demos available on the Polar.fi website.

Depending on what you're wanting to view and do you might also check out www.polarpersonaltrainer.com which is a webbased training log and allows connectivity to your S710. This is free and run by Polar. It's fairly featureless but does allow web based tracking.

Here's another one ... http://www.pccoach.com/cycling/index.htm

I've never tried it and the screenshots look less then impressive for a 70 dollar piece of software.
