Books, Movies, Music & Entertainment - Springsteen fans, I need help (DVD)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
So Im going to purchase a springsteen DVD for a friend of mine for Christmas, and I was looking and there seems to be four. One is live in Barcelona, one live in NY, one is documenting his career, and the last is a VH1 documentary. Which one do you guys like the best? I'm thinking about getting the live in Barcelona DVD but I wanted to see what peoples thoughts were.
Thanks

If you want the "reunion" tour, get the New York City DVD. It was a great concert and the sound should be excellent (reasonably sure it's 5.1)
But the real gem is the Hammersmith Odeon concert from 1975. It captures him at a time before the polish, where he sweated it out night after night. The sound is great and is 5.1 I turn up my sound system and turn off the tv and just listen. You'll love it
The NY one if you want his classic songs, the VH1 if you want some of his less common tunes.
Shoulda bought him this... :)
