Anyone?
Any Feedback?

I'm leaning towards one as an upgrade on my Giant AC Air Light...

I ran one all of last season. It worked well but I found that i did not use the lock-out that much. Also, it has a longer stroke so it will increase your rear wheel travel a bit.

It will have to be rebuilt once a year because they tend to get air in the system. Also, the air assist is nice because you can run the shock very plush or very stiff depending on your style and terrain.

Another good thing I like about Stratos, if you are a heavier rider they make spring rates up to 900#.

My suggestion would be, get the Helix Pro if you are riding alot of smooth fire roads because the lock out will come in handy. If you are riding rough terrain then I would say get the Helix because the lock out just adds weight and will seldom get used. If you still want the Pro then also get the remote switch for the lock out because can be a pain at times to flip the lever.

One other suggestion, if you are going to be doing any dh or fr then I would say get the Stratos El Jefe. It has air assist and I believe a type of Currnut technology to help reduce "BOB".

I agree with dirtbikedude, lots of adjustment options with the air. I have rebuilt mine once it is two years old. I have the lockout and I use it some, good shock, good customer service....tom
