I do, just curious to how many people here do, and also are you a road cyclist or a mountain biker.

Can't abused my knees when I was young and the military told me that jumping from an airplane with ninety pounds of gear was a good thing. Also running in Combat Boots was hardcore. Thank you for the shin splints and knee surgeries.

I don't run anymore, my family has a history of knee and other joint problems so I avoid any type of impact on them, especially since I'm a bigger guy.

This evening I went out jogging for the first time in months. My time was as good as I it was back when I ran several times a week, so the road biking has kept my motor in shape. But I'm sure I'll be feeling my legs tomorrow.

I think I'll split training between cycling and running this winter. I'm thinking about doing a half-marathon in the spring.

I used to run for a couple of years in high school. But now every time I try to run, I injure myself. Running has been lame since the invention of the wheel.

The only time I'll run is if I'm being chased or I'm chasing someone. Or if you dangle a can of Monster in front of me on a treadmill.

I just can't get motivated to run.. Unless I'm pushing the MTB up a steep hill then my motivation is that if I stop I probably fall.

I don't run unless someone is chasing me. And they're bigger than me. Or they have a gun, when I don't.

I run two to three times a week from November to the beginning of April when it's too cold to bike and the road conditions suck, then it's back to the road bike full time in the spring. I also MT bike, but only occasionally. I only run 3 - 3 1/2 miles tops at a time, because years of hardcore running in my teens and twenties have left me with knees that get sore if I run too much. I can bike from now until the cows come home and my knees never get sore, so that's why I'm mostly a cyclist now days.
