Can anyone recommend a good slimmer style platform pedal? Something with good grip and doesn't weigh too much? Thanks.

Slimmer than what? I've always liked DMR V12, but they do a cheaper V8 depending on your budget.

Thanks. I'm looking for slimmer than the standard bmx trap. Do you have a link to the V8's? Are these Wellgo pedals you're referring to?

Nevermind, I found the DMR website. The V12's seem to be what I'm looking for. Thanks again.

Wellgo B27s, I love my pair.

I currently use and recommend the Specialized Lo Pro Mag 2's - they meet the criteria you describe.

The new Straitline pedals look pretty nice as well, although I have no experience with them.

I'll also add that Five.Ten Impacts will make any platform pedal (or wet log or mossy rock for that matter) significantly grippier.

Odyssey Jim Ceilencki's.

I run these. I like them alot, to the point where next time i need pedals, ill be getting the sealed mag version rather than the loose ball alu ones i have now.

I'm running the sealed mags right now.

I get pretty white sparks when I either do pedal grinds or miss my feebles :D.

Syncros Mental Alloys or Magnesiums.

Either the Trailkings (like MX reccomended) or my reccomendation, the Shimano DX. Both will run you around $100-120.
