Looks like Sunday through Tuesday are going to be warm. I hope to get in a couple of rides!

Yep, hoping to get some in myself. I only need 20.7 more miles to reach my 1000 mile goal for this season. May not seem too lofty, but hey it's the most I've ridden in a single season so far. Probably rode more than that on my Schwinn Fastback when I was a kid, but who was counting back then.

Hooray! I got out today on the roadie. 53.26 miles. Was shooting for a metric century but ran out of light. Had brake issues at the start that put me behind. Great ride and great weather!

Another good weekend for riding. I saw a half dozen roadies out last weekend on backroads north of the city. Sunday should be awesome. The more the trainer sits idle, the happier I am.

+1 I was probably one of them.
Sunday is supposed to be 62. I am planning on doing my first metric century. Check it out on this awesome tool for route planning. http://routeslip.com/map.php?map=16620

I was riding near Saxonburg. I did my 12-mile loop today, the one I do when I have to cram a ride in with a full slate of other stuff. Sunday I hope to do at least double that but certainly well below a metric century.

I am bummin. My wife twisted her ankle today and that means I need to tend to the youngens tomorrow. I'll be lucky to get outside at all. Looks like another late night evening ride on my trainer. Enjoy the weather!

Well, the club's annual New Years Day ride was another success. Had a pretty nice turnout of around 50, or so riders. Everybody stayed dry, and for the most part together. I think the ride was cut short due to the threat of incoming rain, and the temperature was dipping slightly. Overall though the weather was very good for getting out on the first day of the new year.

Anyone still rebuking the value of a trainer. Lows in the 0s and highs in the teens. Holy Crap.
My basement is toasty.
Come on Spring!
Can't wait for RAGBRAI

My cycleops is getting some use, something I was starting to think wouldn't happen this winter. Man, the December weather seems so long ago. I sure hope that dang groundhog was right.
