Told you guys Miami has one of the worst road rage problems around. Although, the guy was riding in a really nasty neighborhood and its possibly a drug related crime.

POLICE SEEK TIPS IN BICYCLIST'S DEATH

Authorities Friday asked for tips in the shooting death of a 20-year-old man gunned down this week as he rode his bicycle in Model City.

Emmanuel Ojoka James was killed Wednesday in a drive-by shooting in the 1200 block of Northwest 46th Street, Miami police said.

His death Wednesday was the 233rd homicide logged in Miami-Dade County this year, according to the medical examiner's office.

That's nearly a 35 percent increase. Last year in the same time span, police detectives had worked 174 cases. Overall in 2005, the morgue logged 183 homicides.

In Greenville NC this past summer, the opposite was occuring.

Guys on bicycles were shooting at pedestrians.

Probably something personal. Just because someone is shot on a bike, it doesn't mean that the bike had anything to do with it. The great majority of homicides in this country are personal or gang related. Just my 2 cents.

I guess you mean the movie "Quicksilver" that was about bike messengers? I haven't seen that movie since about the time it came out, so I don't remember too much about it. Maybe more details about the scene would help, or maybe not.:D

I just know that when people get shot here in Cincinnati, it's usually in a high drug traffic/gang active part of town, a relationship "issue," or two drunk idiots in a fight over something stupid. There have been a few home invasion robberies and hold ups involving shootings but not many.

A friend of mine did get a pistol drawn on him after he confronted some guy for cutting too close to him on his bike, but I think the guy with the pistol was probably more scared than anything.

Guy I work with has told me all about driving in Miami. They should send Miami drivers to India, where they can get wiped the **** out by the crazy traffic there and maybe come back and drive like they live in a 1st world country.
