Don't lie - I know it happens to others as well as me - do you guys ever dream about bikeforums and various members/events/posts/threads/pics/etc.??

I've had two BF-related dreams this past week - I don't usually dream all too much unless I'm tired, and as this past week was finals week, I had dreams galore. I don't recall them in its entirety, but only bits and pieces . . .

The first one had Brandy and Fixer in it as well as myself, and involved a chain and some lube. While that in itself might sound quite sick and perverted, I'd like to add it was bike-related. Fixer was fixing the chain on a bike on the roadside while Brandy was looking on. Fixer commented to me, "All you have to do is add a few drops of lube, and you're good to go!!" Hmmmm . . .

Second one last night - dream was of Gretzky (whom I have never met in person yet, but had "known" from another forum for Acura TSX's) - he commented about how he had to ride before the holiday party, so he would have to show up in his bike kit with his bike. Hmmmmmm . . .

Have you ever had a dream where you know a person is such-and-such person, but whether the face/body/etc, matched up or not, or visible for that matter, they are still identifiable as that particular person?

And I've had a few dreams where I picture the forum on the screen, and the threads and the posts, as if I was browsing the forums.

Please tell me that I'm not the only one that has these random dreams - or else I'm going to make an appointment for a psychiatric evaluation first thing Monday morning.

I did have a dream with a certain member on here it it, and no it wasn't that kind of dream - but it was that member that you will all assume it was. I was being chased by dinosaurs and he was talking to me in the dream. I don't remember now what he was saying to me, but he looked just as yummy in my dream as he does in real life. :p :D

Hey...I admitted that I had a dream about George (fixer) before too! I can't remember all of the details now, but I do remember that we were going out somewhere with Tiff.

I should start a poll to see which BF member gets dreamed about the most . . .

So far, it's 2 votes for Fixer!!! :p

Maybe it's the same dream, you guys were there in the dream at the same time.

Yes, it's common for several people to dream the exact same dream.

I'm not sure what it means, but I had this strange dream that I did a century with BFer "MTBLURKER" riding on my handlebars!:D

I haven't yet had any dreams about BF, but starting shortly before I started riding the track, I started having dreams about the velodrome. Over the course the next 8-9 months or so, I probably had about 6 dreams about the riding the velodrome, the most recent about 6 weeks ago.

Also, I've probably had close to ten dreams in the last year about various members of my club.

I guess you could say cycling has had a pretty profound impact on my life and psyche.

Heres a daydream...
Not about a member, but about a school bus that hauls all bfers and bikes and all to group rides (Algebra gets that boring) McDonalds is awsome :)

That was last sunday for me, for real. About 1.5 miles from the start of the Burrito Century.

Next time, don't get a flat.

We all asked if you needed any help, you said you were good!

btw: it happened to me twice when I helped The Fixer with his two successive flats, so I've got no sympathy.

Sorry to hear that Matt...I know it sucks anytime...but really does at the start
I got one 3 miles into my 1st century at cool breeze 2 years ago...
