It doesn't really matter what size, becuase the braket should come with it so it fits on your bike.

So I am a little over my head here. My learning curve is steep with lots to learn. I picked up my 06 GF Tass the other day and I want to add a set discs. Either the BB7 or Juicy7's. The rotor options are 160mm, 185mm or 203mm. Everything I can find on the my bike says it takes a 6" rotor. So tell me guys.....what do I need to order? As always....thanks for your patience with this newbie.

160 will do ya just fine. Pricepoint.com has bb7's for $60 a piece right now, jump on it while you can. Awesome set of brakes.

Has anyone bought from them before? i have bought lots from them. no problems. they can seem flaky at times...internet going out, phone going out, etc...but they are trying and it looks like you can buy from their site now....or call them if it is not working yet. i think those were isolated problems when they were going to a new system.
if you're wondering if you if you can trust them and if they have good customer service i would say a definite yes.
i am just not sure if those prices are right? i am ordering some juicy 5's on monday most likely.
as mentioned above, 160 probably fine. however i like the 185 front and 160 rear combo. should be fine on your fork. you're just doing cross country type stuff, right?

Just XC and Casual messing about. I am using the bike primarily for cross training and as an alternative to the roadbike when I feel I need a break. Is there a negative to getting to big of a disc....to much braking power?

seriously, with like the juicies, just pull the lever less. they are sensitive enough. if you're talking weight differences between rotor sizes...minimal, who cares. since the prices are all so close, i would get the 185 front. if it were like 100 bucks more i would say do the 160s
