Introductions - Hiya!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Did a search and ran into y'all- decided to sign up. Been riding forever - had back surgery in 2000 and decided to get a recumbent - not really working for me...probably better off with a road bike so I can stretch out rather then sit. Been looking around at a variety, considered a Townie but not sure if I should go with more of a racer (more stretch)...open to advice!
Just a casual rider - had a Stumpjumper when mountain bikes first came out, never got real into it, though.
So there ya go, ride on! Doug 8>)
