Hey,

My name is Jon and I just got my mountain bike out of the garage. The last time I rode it was about 2 years ago. I was pretty much on it 24/7, but since school I havn't been able to get out. All of that is going to change as soon as springtime starts to come around. I guess I will have to stay on my board until then. Anyways just thought I would check out the forums and if anyone can suggest some semi-difficult trails around the virginia area, northern virginia to be more specific, I would greatly apprectiate it. I say semi-difficult because I was good back in my day, but I am probably a little rusty. Thanks and IM BACK BABY :p !

Hello QuillRoots/Jon, there must be some trails in NoVa, and I'm surprised the Virginia riders haven't spotted this posting.

You certainly might want to post this in the Regional forum for the Northeast US http://www.bikeforums.net/forumdisplay.php?f=232

I think you will certainly get some suggestions over there. Don't worry about being rusty, it will all come back to you with a bit of practice--something like 'once you learn, you never forget how to ride a bike?'.

Welcome to BF!

Or the southeast forum. The DC area got split when they created the regional forums, since they put VA in the SE and MD in the NE.

Hope you're finding your way around here OK, and welcome to BF>

Thanks for that update cooperwx. I generally confine my perusal of the regional forums to the Pacific Northwest with an occasional glance at the Western Canada forum. I'm intimidated by the size of the SoCal forum...it's scary big, especially with that 'shopping thread' that's going on there :) .
