Well, It's not a classic but it seems cheap and good for my first rebuild project.

Is a Trek 1000 in good condition worth $100?

You folks seem to be on top of prices more than other sections of the forum.

Thanks,

Mirko

I think so, they're usually sort of expensive right?

If it is your size, and truly in good shape and I think it is worth it.

If you look at eBay, I'm sure you'll see many going for more than $100.

As I recall, the Trek 1000 was last years's entry level bike of the year, so it won't be high end, but it sells for $600-700 or so new, and hasn't changed a lot in the last several years. I don't know the line enough to know if there was an early version that differed significantly from the current model, and if there was an earlier different model, I don't know the value.

Yeah, but they've been making Trek 1000's for several years now. There were some in the late 80's/early 90's as I recall.

We need more info, but if it is in clean shape and fits you, a C note is not too much....
