OK, I'm thinking of procuring a titanium audax machine, for occasional loaded touring too. Given the head angle (72 degrees), I need some forks with a reasonable amount of rake. I've read various opinions on the pros and cons of titanium as a metal for forks. Questions: if money is not object ... (a) can a decent set of (custom) forks be made from ti ... (b) can a superior (to other materials) set of fork be made from ti ...and (c) which builders would you recommend?
