Mountain Biking - Which bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm posting this for my son (age 14). I've recently gotten the roadie bug again, but know next to nothing about mountain bikes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
Hello, I am a novice rider and I have been dirt jumping a little and I've decided I really liked biking. I was recently looking for a decent full supspension bike that is for dirt jumping and trail riding. I found two bikes I really liked. One was an Iron Horse Yakuza Aniki, and the other one was a Haro Extreme 6. I need help deciding on which one to get. If you have any sugestions, serve em' up.

i think if he's looking at those two bikes in particular, the turner rfx is probably outside of his desired spending limit.
personally, i like the ironhorse's bikes better than haro's.

I haven't ridden that specific Iron Horse, but think they make a very good product.
I have ridden the Haro and it's pretty decent, feels o.k. and has a decent spec, albeit a bit on the heavy side.
Both are good for their price points.
Hands down to the Turner, it's in a whole different league.

Between those two bikes I would go for the Iron Horse.
But for your budget I would look into a HT.
