#12 - Canaan Valley #3 - 8/19/07
#13 - Dirt Derby (point Series Championship) - 9/9/07

5 races to qualify, best 6 scores plus the Championship score for final standing.

Looks like a good schedule. I'm really happy to see White Oak back on the schedule, I enjoy that race and the people that put it on. It's also nice to see no six week breaks this year. My only question is where is Canaana Valley #1? I see #2 and #3 listed but no #1.

Canaan Valley #1 is the Rattlesnake - 5/20/07 - which will be an XXC.

The 24 Hrs at Big Bear will be 6/9-10/07; 7/2 will be a triathalon at North Bend, the Wild 100 XXC 8/25, and the Cheat 100 XXC 9/16 (?). There's a bit of chatter about a small XXC series.

No info from Ace or Tomilson for 07...

Next meeting is tentatively scheduled for 1/7/07 at Dr. Steve's house in Timberline at @4:30 (play all day first!)

Yeah - all the ultra's are xc marathons

A marathon race at big bear? too sweet! Hopefully I'll be recovered from the Shenandoah 100 by then.

Seriously - looking for a Race Director - we have the former director to take care of the trail work & local fund-raising, I'm taking car of prize donation - all the race director has to do is take charge, arrange for the EMS (usually not a problem), find a sound system, find a group to cook lunch & find some course marshals.
