HELLO TO ALL,

I AM NEW TO BIKING AND AM EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THIS WONDERFUL FORUM.
THREE MONTHS AGO I WEIGHED 260 lbs AND I AM 5'-9" TALL.
I BEGAN RIDING FOR WEIGHT LOSS REASONS.
BEING 100 lbs OVERWEIGHT, RIDING PUTS LESS PRESSURE ON MY KNEES.
I STARTED ROAD RIDING ON WEEKENDS ON MY MOUNTAIN BIKE AND I NOW WEIGH 220 lbs.
NOW I ACTUALLY FOUND A NEW HOBBY FOR CYCLING WITH A WEIGHT LOSS REWARD TO GO ALONG.
NOW I HAVE PURCHASED A ROAD BIKE ( GMC Denali XL Road Bike - 22.5"/57.5cm Frame) AND AM LOOKING FOWARD TO SHARING MY EXPERIENCES.

Oh, you must check out the Commuting Forum, and read CigTech's multi-page thread if you have not already done so.

There's also a Clydesdale Forum (that's a cyclist over 200 pounds) that may be of interest to you. Congratulations on the weight loss and welcome to BF.
