I have them on my bike along with the atlas seatpost. Nice bars, good compromise between strength, weight and price(ranks inbetween the xc and diabolus). Haven't broken them yet anyway. What else can you say about bars?

Well, if he is looking at the atlas bars then I assume he is planning on doing at least light freeride or something more demanding than xc anway. So, a carbon xc bar would not be the best choice.

I have one - but I haven't built up my FR bike yet, so I can't give you any opinions on the bar.

Im pushing 215-220 with camelbak. JUst the ocassional 2 foot water bar, putzing around town(ie stairs curbs etc). It'll be either the atlas or truvative team bars.
