Hey everyone,

I have a friend of a friend coming in from Hawaii for a few days and wanted to rent a bicycle to do some riding up and down PCH from Huntington Beach... could be a hybrid style, but really wants more of a touring/road bike.

Any ideas?

Jeff

Uh more infor would be nice...

If looking for a road bike both The Edge and Laguna Cycling will loan out bikes.

If you can provide a size range, etc. I might be able to locate a cruiser style bike for her (don't know why I assume its a woman) to ride.

It's for a guy.. he needs a 58cm, or equivalent. Not really looking for a cruiser, but more of a roadie/touring bike.

I was thinking Laguna Cyclery might be the ticket. I forgot about The Edge, but that is a good choice as well.

Thanks Pam!

Hey Brian,

If it were for someone I knew personally, I'd take ya up on it... but it is for the uncle of a guy I work with. I don't wanna vouch for him, he could be a lunatic! :-)

I'll check out Surf City Cyclery.. a demo program would be sweet for this guy...

Hey... you coming to my holiday ride on Dec. 22? my neighbor puts it on in Old Town Orange... I posted a thread last night about it.

22nd?? hmm well thats my Sisters, Moms and my Uncles Bday(He is down from Canada right now..)

No problem on the bike loan, I thought it was for a friend of yours....

I think Surf City charges like $50 a day though... kinda pricey because its more to try the bike for purchasing more than to rent..
