i don't even know what he has! i know he belongs to gamefly and gets games from them.... we did buy the cute little wrestling/fighting game with the girls and boys that you win costumes.... i played that a lot when we first got the xbox.... i liked winning costumes! lol! i don't think he plays that, though.....
i'm thinking he doesn't have halo 2 cuz it's not a 360 game (although i do guess it will play on the 360).... and i know the ones we've bought are only 360 games.... not sure about what he gets in the mail???????
Oh. I was asking because the only video games I play are halo 2, and gears of war. Not a big game player. But on halo 2, I play online. I was going to say, I'd love to kick your husband's but in halo 2

I don't even own a television.

whew!.....I thought I was the only one in SoCal without subscription TV.+1. I do have a tv, which is used for movies and PS1/Wii gaming. Too bad I only have a roller and not a trainer, so I can't play games while spinning.
Sorry to hear about your experience with the gym, ME.

You probably did better than I would have M.E. Man, 24 Hour Fitness blows. I belonged to a gym in Dallas that they took over. It was a great gym until 24 Hour came in. After that I had constant complaints. Customer service was non existant. I remember one time I took a friend to a different 24hr than I normally went to as a guest because my friend wanted to check out the gym closest to their house for membership. They wouldn't let me in because I didn't have the right kind of membership for multiple clubs. I was a member and brought them someone ready to fork over money, and they ran me off. F'ing b@stards.....
I'm a member of the best gym in the world right now. Unfortunately they're only here in Austin. www.pureaustin.com . Hopefully they won't get taken over by the evil empire.

My biggest complaint with LA Fitness; the shriveled up old guys reading their newspapers with
their sagging nutsacks

TV is overrated! I'd rather be out doing something, watching something on netflix or here on BF getting my fix. :D

You know I love you ME, but it's hard to take you serious :roflmao:
I'm super envious of the group you guys have in socal. I'd even buy a roadie just to roll with you guys. Here in norcal, the only people I can get to ride with me don't have bikes. I've offered to lend them my older bike, which means I need to put over a 100$ into it to get a new crank and bb on. But it's well worth it to roll with someone.
Riding by yourself, especially when your whole life you rode with someone(my friend who went to college) sucks.

Wow I love all those bikes, too bad I'm still waiting on my bonds from my dad. Once I get those, I'll be ready to buy that roadie. The bianchi looks good.
No montara doesn't have alot of singletrack, other than a few off shoots.

posted some pics ^^here, page 8 post 184.
Technically it's a huge fireroad with some rocky parts, steep climb to the top. The mile, crack, and boyscout offer some dh, dj and technical riding.
here are some foggy vids of the three trails

The crack looks like alot of fun. It looks like it would be fine in the rain huh? You need to get down here and ride Demo forest too.

True, we use our main TV solely for watching DVD's. It's not hooked up to anything else but the DVD player. Last night we watched The Departed. It was a long 150 minute film. Excellent film BTW. I believe it's currently playing in theaters.
Tonight we're watching The Prestige.

It would be minorly wet or muddy in a few spots, to the point of a little bit of mud drops on your bike, but yea it'd be rideable anytime. I can't ride the crack, but If you come to the top with me, I'll follow you down the crack/mile/boyscout :D
Mostly walking, or riding around stunts of course. :)
are you open for a ride anytime during the week?

Im sure it is rideable for me if its dry, wet makes things a bit slippery and I dont take those kinds of chances. I definately wanna ride that, but Id like it to be on a sunny dry day. Is your bike good to go again?
I can do some rides during the week, but I am more limited on time, meaning Id need to ride on this side of the bay.

It's mostly granite, wet doesn't make it too bad. Just let me know when your ready, preferrably in the weekdays for me. It is on this side of the bay ,pacifica, ca. 50 minutes on 280 from san jose.
Oh and yes, bought 4 chain pins and my bike rides like a dream :)

I was flipping channels last night, and came across the "Biggest Loser" - the show with the humongoids that lose 100+ lbs...
anyhoo, they rolled out the Director of Fitness (Chairman of Chubb?) from 24HR Fitness Corporate office, and he was a plumpster. Seemed like corporate america figured out how to McEnter the fitness craze.
Seek ye a new gym. Find one that's not just in it for the bottom line.

Because I am a brat, I just sent the following comment to 24Hour Fitness
I heard the Director of Fitness was on "Biggest Loser" last night. As I heard he was a bit overweight, I was wondering if you could forward a picture of him so I can make my own determination.
I will let you know any response I receive.

Doesn't exist. Not to sound cynical, but I'd say they're all in it for profit. As for the owner/chairman, 24 Hr. Fitness is simply a subsidiary in a large conglomeration to him and his partners. A product to sell. Chances are the CEO of Jack in the Box rarely eats there. Probably eats sushi off of diamond plates.
