Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It's been a great cycling year and I have ridden more miles than I have driven my car. I plan to end the year with a bang and complete my first century. The PBA will be doing a Chistmas Century ride on an out and back route from Plano Texas to Leonard Texas and back. The ride starts at Alma and Hedgecoxe at 8:00AM on December 22nd. I know alot of people will be out of town for the holiday but I thought I would post this for those who will be in town. There will be a ride leader and the pace will be moderate. The ride map can be found at www.planobicycle.org (http://www.planobicycle.org) under ride calendar.

With all the time I've spent off the bike between new baby and vasectomy, through in about 10 jillion pounds of holiday food and I'd say I'm fit for the SAG wagon express!! Does the out and back include the Leonard Levithans?

I'm not sure. I haven't looked too closely at the map.
Sounds like a great ride, but I'll be in SoCal on the 22nd. And any ride that takes the time to go all the way to Leonard must include the Levithans!
I'd be up for it but have a metric the next day. I think most clubs are doing a holiday ride, enjoy and watch out for reindeer.
