I am converting a frame I have to a single speed, and I'm wondering if I can use a new SRAM 9-speed chain that I have. I will be using a standard road double crank and getting the Nashbar conversion kit that comes with cogs and a chain tensioner. Will this chain work with the cogs it comes with?

Thanks

Yes. Unless your chainring is 1/8".

I have not used the nashbar cog, but my guess is that it will work fine.

looks like it's designed for that chain. If it doesnt fit, just get a cheap singlespeed chain thats 1/8 in wide

The cog is 3/32, so the cog and chain are compatible. It just depends on your chainring now.
