I'm thinking of replacing my raleigh rush hour frame with a steel marinoni pista frame. Any thoughts?

Why?
Better geometry for track racing, lower front end. lighter weight too.

Then yes. The Rush Hour is a bit of a tank.
yeah, i've been mulling over what i'd like to get for a frameset that once built i wouldn't mind locking up and not babying, as opposed to my shiny new level. i tried the fenders and ss thing with my schwinn conversion and it's not for me. i strongly prefer better than 4130/reynolds 520 steel at this point, and trackish geometry. i also need something like 50c-c 52t-t.
i could probably score a rush and a carbon fork on ebay for ~450. but there's a part of me that's leaning towards a basic jacobs custom for $~850, since i'll be riding it a whole lot. this is compounded by the fact that i'm not sure if there's any worthwhile alu frames out there. needless to say i'm a bit indecisive
