Family is planning a camping trip to Fish Creek Ponds in July 2007...looking for ideas for some local / regional day tours (around 60 miles or so) to see the sights. In 2006, I rode to Lake Placid and that was a great ride! Awesome sights!! Also, if anyone will be in the area then, maybe we can put a group ride together for those who might be interested.

I made my first trip up the Adirondacks this past October and I got this book up there:
It has a few rides around the area where you will be staying.

It is great cycling up there and while my trip wasn't exactly for cycilng I did get a few miles in around Lake Placid.
I have had my mind on this ride though it's distance(one lap) is a little far for me especially up there.
