Foo - Anyone play Counter Strike or other FPS's?

I used to play halo 2. I still have an account, but don't play it more than once a week.

I play Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. I tried Counter Strike Source but it just wasn't as fun as MOH:AA.

I have MOH, but there isn't enough room on the drive of the computer at school to install it. :)

Ok obviously you haven't played halo 2. People Mod their xboxs(meaning MODIFY) so that they have one shot kill, super speed, instant headset, and super jump. That makes it impossible to win. Also kids standby in halo 2, where they pull the power on a special kind of router, and it causes everyone on the opposing team to go into a loading screen, while they kill you.

Counter Strike !! Been playing that for years ... and still play it...occasionally.

Used to p;lay Call of Duty 2.

I used to play counterstrike. It is a great game even with the frequent cheaters and my frustratingly slow ping. Then it just got too much of a pain when you had to register and then download the whole program again (even though you already had it on CDrom) and then some ant-cheat program that meant that you could only play on servers running the same version of the anti-cheat program. So I haven´t played for years.

ps is that really you merton?

It's all steam based now, so basically one click download. I only play cs with my friends. They used to be cal-i.

I'm a huge fan of Dod 3.1 and retail. Source blows.

I finally got around to buying Half Life 2 when I built a new computer last month. Wow. I didn't think they could match the step up in interaction they made with Half Life 1, but I was seriously impressed.

Counterstrike:Source is so much the same as the old, yet somehow enough different to feel novel, but I'm still undecided whether I like DoD or DoD:Source better.

The best part is the Gravity Gun.

Slicing a headcrab zombie in half with a rotary sawblade is one of the most incredible feelings. :D

I don't like the Source engine based games.

Only because the computer I play my games on, although very fast (Pentium 4, 2.8 Gigahertz), doesn't have a 3D card. :(
