We've asked some of these before, but let's see it in the form of a mult-choice allowed poll. :D

I don't believe in God(in the biblical sense)or Telekinetics, but I'm open to the rest of the stuff..... I've met people who were real live angels right here on earth. They are all over the place.

So does "All of the Above" include the "None of the Above" option?

Aliens only an imbecile could not believe in. One glimpse at the stars proves my point. God and ghosts I believe in since some weird things happened after people I was close to died. Telepathy and psychic abuility I believe in for a lot of reasons I have experienced. Angels I suppose could be ghosts.

Aliens almost. I guess I'm sort of agnostic towards them.
There is the chance that life has the ability to exist elsewhere
however, I'm not sure whether life exists at the same moment we do
Do aliens exist if they're long since dead?
What does an alien have to be to be considered an alien?
Do I believe in aliens
No
Do I doubt aliens are there somewhere
No

I didn't know anybody actually questions Santa Claus' existence. He's well known as a prankster.

I didn't believe in ghost until I had an experience. Now I think there is something to it and I'm really curious as to what. I wish someone would scientifically approach the issue.

Aliens are a mathematical probability if not a certainty. Now aliens visiting Earth is another matter.

In my tradition it's a piece of coal in your stocking but some people say he brings a bundle of switches. For some people Santa Claus come on the 6th of December, St. Nicholas Day; but if that were true here then Santa Claus gave me only one of those chocolate candies with a marshmallow filling which I gave away. Maybe we need a Santa Claus poll.

lol - aliens probably really do exist. Mathmatically its almost a certainty. Heck, I've looked at some stuff from mars that looked like pretty strong evidence of extraterrestrial life in our own little solar system.

I remember looking at a slide with a prof in Astronomy class at UT. I was like "wow -the number of stars in the frame are amazing..." He said "Mike, most of those 'stars' aren't stars. They're galaxies." Wow. Yeah, alien life is pretty much a guarantee.

Folks who believe in in god(s), ghosts, demons and other supernatural BS are idiots, and are holding the rest of us back as a species. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but this is why other "developed countries" are laughing at our attempts to teach grade school kids about how the earth was created in 6 days by a magic man in the sky. Pure idiocy.

God doesn't always mean a man with a beard. I believe in a force that drives everything and that's what I refer to as God. But regardless, I don't find those who do believe in a man with a beard, angels with harps, etc. idiots. I just hold a different belief.

If you knew anything about the bible, you'd know the 6 days actually was 6000 days. So I guess I agree, anyone who thinks this complex world could have been created in 6 days is a complete idiot!

Sorry Kris, but I think those who belittle other's beliefs are idiots.

What is the definition of "magic"? To me its simply science we don't understand. Take any of our everyday conviences back about 500 years. Everyone would look at them as being magic. Those things that may be considered "supernature" may very well have a perfectly good scientific explanation, albeit a science we don't yet (and may never) understand.

Quantum Mechanics on the surface resembles magic as it is defined....

Who knows, our creator may well be a quantum physicist in another universe saying "Hey, y'all, watch this!", as he hits the button....

We may be a bubble universe composed of quarks in degenerative form!http://www.madhatter.free.fr/smileys/albert.gif

I voted NOTA, and while I do think that simply because of the size of the universe, there has to be life out there somewhere. However, I can't say that I believe in aliens. Life forms from other planets are only aliens if they have visited our planet, (i.e.–they are not aliens on their own planet).

I think "alien" just stands for intelligent life elsewhere
Does an alien have to resemble us in having legs and arms and stand 4 feet tall? Would we respect anything not like ourselves right off the bat?

"Take any of our everyday conviences back about 500 years. Everyone would look at them as being magic. "

Whatever you were to show them would be Fantastic
not magic
People have never believed in magic.
People do not waste time studying things they truly believe to be magic.
Someone with the right intelligence would study that modern convenience

I believe in aliens.

Why?

Simple....because we thrive on competition.....

This is the point my inner bastard is revealed.

Now I thought to myself "Steve...what would you do if you were the creator/event that made all of this?"

'I would make multiple worlds, in multiple galaxies, in multiple larger astral units. Each of them having a series of "earths", with a series of dominant humanoid species....the last one standing wins!'

.....after all, life is stranger and more screwd up than fiction....so why would a "normal" answer like "we are the only ones" make any sense?

So in that manner I feel there is other life out there, but it's not to be trusted, and it's probably playing with us right now....aka "crop circles" (aka cow tipping for aliens....tip the crops, watch the rednecks panic).

Hey, nobody said we weren't supposed to have a sense of humor....now we just need an astronaut to drop a crate of Map-o-Spread on their planet, and watch as they gag/die on the overly-sweet maple concentrate that comprises this nasty concoction.

So there are passages, I googled and searched the bible footnotes, and bible dictionary/TG for one. Couldn't find anything.

Does look like I was wrong though, 1 day=1000 years, not days.
