Actually, a quad shot of espresso and cocoa has done wonders..(along with the ibuprofen!)

Best hangover remedy I ever used .... given to me by an assistant manager at the grocery store I worked as a teen when I came over severely hung over New Year's Day.
Alkaseltzer and WARM 7-up

Drink all the water you can stand. Tylenol Sinus always helps me out too.
scottish cure to a hang over:
two bacon rolls and a liter of IRN BRU - if it doesn't kill you, it can only make you stronger.
I had that too. It was from Keg beer though, not used to that. Oh well, I went out for a ride early this morning and busted the headache out. It's now gone. Another great benefit of cycling!!!:D

Nope.
From my EMT days: 100% oxygen does wonders. Ahhhhhhhh
Alkaseltzer works by tasting so awful, you forget what was hurting in the first place. At least that is my theory.

the best hangover cure for me: when im still drunk, a bottle of apple juice, then 2 pints of water, go to bed, and i dont feel a thing in the morning.

Exactly!
McDonald's egg and sausage Mcmuffin breakfast. MMM greasy goodness. Worked for me the morning after my stag party which was quite possibly the drunkest I've ever been in my entire life.

I don't drink,,,,so hangover? What's that? Anyway, it seems a lot of the "cures" here are getting water back in your body. Is the headache a result of dehydration? Does the fact that Alka Seltzer is loaded with salt enabling your body to hold on to water quite helpful? If this were true, it probably would be helpful to eat salt as well as drink a lot of water while drinking alcohol to lessen the effects.
Just speculating. I really don't know anything. Good luck with yours Tom.

This hangover remedy absolutely works. Controversial but it works every time.
1. Take a sports replenishment drink that you like. (all sport, gatorade, etc)
2. Add the contents of 2 ginseng pills.
3. Add the contents of 2 ephedrine pills.
4. Consume beverage and go for a 20 minute walk. Guarneteed you feel much better from then on.
Absolutely #1. You're dehydrated and you need electrolytes.
The pseudofed sounds a little weird. Perhaps for settling the stomach so you can get some calories in?
Also, a short shower helps, too. Start out cold for 15 seconds or so, then warm it up. Get out as soon as you recover from the chill of the cold.

Actually, a metric century burned the hangover out of both of us! Hydrated before the ride, carb loaded and rode a 4 hr metric! Felt horrible but got better!http://user.chollian.net/~boonstra/gif/fiets870.gif

I was right there with you this morning. Uuugh. :) I drink often but usually don't over indulge like I did last night. I paid for it this morning. I went for a 4 mile run and it helped a lot.
The others are right - lots of water/sports drink right before bed with an ibuprofen or two really helps. I fell asleep before I could perform the ritual though.

I agree! Did a 40 miler one chilly morning on 2 hours of sleep, headache from Hades and no breakfast. I felt superwonderful by the end of the ride, though! must have been all the snacks they provided along the way.
