I recently ripped a video clip using Mac the Ripper, but now I don't know how to compress the video. I wanted to upload it to Youtube, but it must be too big or something. Does anyone know how to make a video clip smaller without taking away some of the quality?
you have to lose quality to youtube it. i do this with QT pro.

QT Pro? Is that compatible with VOB files? Thanks. :)

FFmpegX (http://www.ffmpegx.com/) is a great all-around package for converting & crunching videos. The latest MP4 H.264/AAC compression gives the best quality for the smallest file-size. For youtube, you want to resize your video to their final dimensions for best quality 448x336. They'll still re-compress it on their side to FLV-flash format, but without having to resize, the quality is better.
Out of curiosity, was this call for help because of this (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=253546)? :)
