There is a dirt track a few miles from my house, and i want to get into bmx, but i dnt know waht to get. I'm looking for a decent bike, but one that isnt too expensive. Obviously i don't need top of the line. Any suggestions? What is up with the company SE racing?

Thanks for your help.

what track are you closest to? if you are new to bmx try a nice steel bike because it will be more forgiving. the MCS tracer pro is a 20.5 tt 4130 chromoly, it comes complete, and is reasonably priced. you will see pros like Phil D. riding it at nationals this year. he will be racing in woodbridge, Va this spring. he rode it and housed the entire pro class at the supercross national in woodward this past september.

SEracing is owned by fuji bikes and is not the same as it use to be.

awesome.. thanks... I'm thinking about the DKbicycles Fury20...it looks like its a pretty good bike. I checked out the specs on it. Someone told me to get bigger bars since I'm just getting into it because they will help me controll the bike better.

Big bars are great for racing and control/steering. And you can always cut the bigger bars down if you don't like them.

The DK Fury is more of a beginner race bike, but if thats what you want to get into, go for it. It's a pretty good complete for the price. If you don't want a race bike, look at the DK Six pack, it's a great complete that you can still race a little with but it's still strong enough for everything else you can throw at it. I would go with the Six Pack if i were you, it's well worth the price.
