My hip has been bothering me the last few weeks. It's fine riding, but after sitting at my desk at work or home, waking up in the morning, or especially, driving in the truck, it hurts like hell. Well we moved offices last week and one of these things was in the new office:

The other day I decided to try it out, since it was just sitting there in a corner and I was amazed...after sitting in it my hip actually felt better! So I got myself one for home too. My hip hurt when I woke up this morning, but after sitting down in the chair and playing around here in BF for a few minutes this morning, it felt fine again.
Yeah, I am gonna see the doc about my hip, but in the meantime I gotta admit these fruity looking chairs are great!
What's next... Birkenstocks? :)

but which of the 2 cushiony looking pieces does the ass go on? i really dont get it.
Your ass goes on the flat piece on the left, your knees on the angled piece on the right.
I don't get it either, I think we need a pic of it in action.

For any of you Catholics out there...it's kinda like half kneeling half sitting in the church pew...cept much more comfy.

I've had something similar for years in my home office and quite like it. Actually, gonna need to replace it soon because the padding's wearing out, but I may look for another.

I used to have one of those....the place I worked at the time was getting rid of it as nobody used it. I took it home and used it for years. I used it until the knee pad portion was so think my knees were up against some screws that held the frame on at the knee area. :D
