Ms. Eubi had major surgery last week, and my mother-in law was kind enough to be with her at home during the week. My wife is suposed to stay off her feet, which is very difficult for a woman who many refer to as the "Energizer Bunny". Now that my mother in law went home, it will take me a while to get the house back to normal.

My house is decorated in early caveman. She took all of my magazines out of my magazine rack and made one pile. Thankfully, my wife kept her from throwing some away.

"But this one is from May 2003."

"Yeah, I haven't read it yet!"

I took pains to clean before mother in law showed up. I didn't want her cleaning my house her way. Her house is spotless, with doilies (which she made herself) on every chair arm. I have my pride.

Now last night I try to cook, and can't find: Frying pan lid, spatula, tongs, salt. I had to admit, mom in law did a good job of hiding them. She really was sweet, though. I did the cooking and she did the washing. It just didn't occur to me that she would become very creative on where she put everything away.

In the end I'm very glad she was there to look after Ms. Eubi. Thanks Mom in law! Come again next year!

Excellent Pheard! Actually, that title came from a test that KT posted to determine what kind of forum/chat room user you were.

But a luck would have it, I am, in fact, an Eagle Scout!

We have several Scouts and Scouters using this forum. My job...find them!

That is great she can be there to assist. I always said, if I had enough money I would build a 3500 sq. foot home with the three car detached with the in-law or family suite above it. Now someone fork over $600K so I can fulfill my dream home.
