Hi All,

The news that I got from someone in my club is that DZ is making his hour record attempt at the ADT Event Center starting at 8:00a on Sunday, December 17th. He'll then go to San Diego to meet up with Floyd and company for the rest of the charity event.

Assuming that the road conditions and weather are still mediocre I'll be headed over to the ADT Event Center to watch and take a few photos.

If you don't know much about Dave, listen to his audio blog (http://www.davezabriskie.missingsaddle.com/), it's a riot.

Hi,

Yes, I saw the other thread, but it was indicating that DZ was making the hour record attempt in SD. I heard he was making the attempt at ADT and then going to SD later to be with Floyd and the others.

Didn't want this info to get buried in that thread since it is so late. :o

thanks, i don't why he would try for the record at san diego as it's a pretty slow track. although he could set the record and just break it again at another track

LA Velodrome site (http://www.lavelodrome.org/Events/20061216_Zabriski_hour.htm) has it happening at 9:00 in the A.M.

Thanks for the heads up.
I may have to hoof it over there by myself. If I call my bike buddies too early, I might wake them or their partner up (done that TOO many times!) If I call too late, they might have already took off on their rides.
I'm new to BF, so if anyone sees me there wandering around like I'm lost, please introduce yourself.
