Lucky for me, the Cyclocross National Championships take place a few miles down the road from where I live. So I got to finally got to check out this side of cycling yesterday afternoon. The weather was ridiculous... something like 50 degrees and sunny a week away from Christmas in New England. Unheard of.
I only took a few pictures, but I figured I'd share some of them...

Great Pics!
I've got to say it was a great cross weekend. Trebon was an animal, and a lot of fun to watch. But honestly, I think the men's B races were more fun. We had some mud and slippery stuff that wasn't there the day before. More spillage, which means more fun for the crowds.
Go killer B's!!!
Yeah that was a fun week end of racing. I did the 35+ race on Sunday and a friend did the U35 just before me. The women B were just before that when that long off camber section started to melt. That was great entertainment :) about 170 riders come jamming around the turn to the off camber and it was bodies every where. By the time I raced it was all tacked up.
Great weekend!! I got in the 40-45 on Friday and again in Sunday's Men's B 35+. What a great course!
This was my first season in cross and was very lucky to have the National's in the next state over. A little bummed at how few racers showed up from CT. It was great to see so many folks from all over the country!!
My wife got some great shots over the weekend, like 2000+.

Enjoy

CT good pictures. I love those 35+ start line pictures. Even those don't show how massive that start was. I think there was 196 starters!
Here is a couple videos to give you an over all feel for the size of the fields. The first one was great fun to watch. This section of off camber dried up by the time I raced. There are more vids and pics on the root.
