I haven't had any caffeine since last Sunday. And it actually feels pretty good. :) If I get a good 8 hours of sleep each night, I don't need caffeine to keep me going during the day.

That's right, no more Monster or Dew for me! (for a while, anyway)

hmmmm, I don't really know. I had a cold/stomach flu last weekend, and just haven't had any cravings for monster or dew since.

I hope you feel better. Been wondering where you've been. I just thought that maybe you had a life or something....

I feel fine now. I do have some finals I need to study for, and some other stuff going on, but yeah, I'm still here, checking up on Foo whenever I can.

I love my coffee. I really, really do. A lot. I would never give it up.

That being said about 10 years ago I decided to stop drinking coffee for a week. I think at that point I was drinking a lot and felt I needed a little break. After my week was up the first coffee I drank was so ****ing delicious.

You can go back to drinking your Dew in moderation. Don't deprive yourself of something you enjoy.

Heh, no thanks! Gatorade has been my beverage of choice lately. It's still just sugar water, but it's better than soda.

Congrats!

I know that when I cut caffiene out of my life I felt a ton better.

I enjoy it so much more now, too! Coffee as a treat is so much nicer than coffee as a neccessity.

I use it pre-ride from time to time.

Congratulations!!! It's a tought thing to do, I know. February will make six years since I have had any caffeine. :D

To make it even worse I quit smoking at the same time. I was a blast to be around during that time.........honest!

Every new years I make it my new year's resolution (at least one of them) to go off caffeine completely. I usually do pretty good till mid April, and then again till late Nov. Those college final exams get me every time. I do feel much better when I'm off the stuff and make sure I get a solid night's rest. However I've been on low/no caffeine so long now that ANY amount of caffeinated soda after about noon will screw with my sleep that night.

I can't even contemplate giving up coffee. My wife bought me a Capuccino machine for X-mas.
She'd kill me if I gave it up. I'm the only coffee drinking meat eater in a house of Vegan Vegetarians.

It wasn't an expensive one. A Delonghi? Makes great coffee and capuccino though.
