Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Dimension track pedals - any good?

I was looking at Sylvan Lites until I found these. I'm not really jazzed on the dust cap style on the regular Sylvan track pedals and the Sylvan Lites don't seem to be as double strap friendly. These are pretty cheap too. I'm still undecided about going for doubles - probably total overkill for my purposes but these seem easier to run real doubles or rig something with. Anybody using these?

Very not good. I would say bad. My friend got a pair and one of the pedals didn't spin, the other spun very poorly, so it was very difficult to get into the clips. Spring for some MKS or Wellgo's

Well these are supposedly the Wellgos.

They look the same to me unless the bearing are different.

I've got a pair of Wellgos, they came used off a Fuji Track. they look similar and work fine, and they are plenty cheap.

If you can pop those end caps off they're prolly adjustable. Just like new hubs, yous knows, got to work the bearings a little bit before you ride.

i've got some old ass wellgo track pedals.
i bought them for something crazy like five bucks on ebay... they're my favorite pedals.

dimensions come stock on many cheap entry-level bikes for a reason.

i rode the wellgo version for 2 years.

they are sticky at first, never really smooth up too well (unless you put metal polish instead of grease and ride for a couple days), dont very well hold up to rain and eventually become mis-adjusted.

but they are cheap!

and they are fully rebuildable.

and the little tab on the inside of the cage you can thread your straps through so you dont get any strap wear on your cranks.

Thanks everyone. For $17 I might give them a shot. I'm going to look as some SRs today and make a decision from there.

I've got a pair on my winter bike. You can't beat em for the money.

Ok I picked up the Dimension pedals. Sure enough they are stamped Wellgo right on the cages. I'll probably grab some clips and straps at another shop on the way home since this particular shop wanted $17 for MKS clips and was completely out of straps.
