I finally got my first F/S bike. After a lot of research, I got myself a Kona Kahuna deluxe and WOW!!!!!!!

Anyway, I can not find anything on the BR-M475 disc brakes that it came with. They were out of manuals at the LBS, so I figured I could find some info on-line. Well, I haven't found anything. I know that they are not top of the line disc brakes, but they are my first and I have no idea how to adjust them. I had to remove the front wheel to get the bike home and when I put the wheel back on, I can't get the roters to stop rubbing. I figure that it is an alignment issue and I just have to do some minor tweaking. Do any of you know where I can get some information on installation and adjusting these disc brakes? Thanx everyone

They were out of manuals? Are they some kind of product that’s sold separately? That's the strangest thing I ever herd. If the discs came with one, then they definitely should provide one! I would go back and ask again, or better yet let them adjust the brakes for you for free since they probably lost the manual. Good luck!

First loosen the bolts that hold the caliper on and move the caliper around until the rub goes mostly away. Then tighten it down and mess with the cable tension.....you should be good to go.
