Mountain Biking - 100mm Fork recommendations

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I have begun to build a new XC hardtail. I need recommendations for a good 100mm fork. I don't go and bigger than a 4 foot drop. I was looking at a Reba SL or Manitou Skareb Platinum. What would you recommend? Feel free to recommend something else as well.

Fox F100. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Something about 4 foot drops on an XC bike, makes me want to suggest a RS Totem!
I rarely hit, let alone find a 4 foot drop where I ride but 2 foot is pretty common as well as log piles up to 4 feet tall.
I'm pretty happy with my F100x but for just xc riding and not race specific I would go with a F100RLC (http://www.speedgoat.com/product.asp?part=118986&cat=160&brand=303).

Yeah that chip seal can get rough at times!
Sorry I didn't mention I don't have that much $$$ for a Fox. I'm shopping mostly on Ebay.
If you have to choose between reba and skareb, go with the reba. Heavier, but with 4mm thicker stanchions it won't flex like skareb.
My RS tora 318 is fine for me and I occasionaly do some small drops with it. Pricepoint has it for cheap, but this fork would probably handle better, and it is cheaper: http://pricepoint.com/detail/15714-315_ROCR36-3-Parts-59-Forks/Accessories/Rockshox-Recon-327-Solo-Air-100-Suspension-Fork-'06.htm]

I'm reading this thread and was real glad to see the F100 recommended because I just bought one on ebay. I'm not the OP and am not highjacking the thread, but it would have been a real bummer to see a post that said, "don't buy a Fox".
Edit: By the way, the fork I'm replacing is a Manitou Splice.

between Manitou and Rock Shox Reba, I choose REBA but if I can buy a new fork it would be a Fox F100X

jensonusa.com has the 2006 Marzocchi MX Comp ETA/TAS 100-120 on sale for $200 and the 2006 MX Pro ETA/TAS 100-120 for $271. These are rock solid forks for good prices. You will likely be able to find them for less on ebay sooner or later but Jenson USA is a reputable online seller.
Check out the reviews on mtbr.com.
I have ordered the 2006 Marzocchi MX Pro ETA/TAS that proximo suggested. Should be here next week.

A totem for a 4 foot drop? Holy crap. I hit around 6 footers with a 100mm fork. But whatever makes you feel comfortable is always right.

Are the wheels different sizes?
No, the picture was taken at an angle. They are off my FS I just used them to align the brake calipers.
