Ok, time to put this to a vote. I'm going to make this a multi-selectable vote thread but please follow these simple rules:

FOR YOU MTB GUYS: Once we get 10 of one type of Jersey (ie: 10 short sleeve road jerseys ordered), Champ-Sys will do 1 off orders of their Downhill/BMX cut jersey! Check out http://www.champ-sys.com and Products for information.

Choices:

1) Vote for the design you want to purchase. In other words, only vote for both options if you want to buy both versions!

2) This is basically to see if we have enough interest to do an order of both jersey. If you want only one, vote for the version you like best, but please note in thread if you would buy either one.

3) If you have no opinion on which of the two jerseys that we order, but only want to buy one, don't vote, but post in thread that you'd like to order one or the other so I can add you to the list.

Now for the two jersey designs:

1) Created by yours truly, Blue with red sleeves with white colar and sleeve ends. I have updated the font for the words on the jersey at the request of several people in the previous thread.

2) Created by nathan, Red Jersey, blue sleeves. Star with chainring on the front. Backside design may or may not be pending further design changes.

edit: Nathan has submitted a version2 of his final design. :) And as he says below: let the best jersey win, and even better if they both win! :)

Now for price. I'm trying to judge this off previous orders from SoCal and the BF's Jersey that workers4youth did:

Jersey + Shipping from Champ-Sys to me: $48.50
If Paying with PayPal: $2.50
Shipping to you if needed: $5.00
Optional: $2.50 (or what you wish to add) towards getting Joe a Texas BF's jersey (as suggested by jsharr)

If you live in DFW and want to pick up the jersey from me near Richardson Bikemart (Richardson Location), then that can be arranged. Additionally if you dislike PayPal and want to arrange other methods of payment you can PM me and we can work something out.

If you order two jerseys, I'm sure I can get both to you for $7.00 :)

Both designs look great. If both designs get produced, I will buy whichever one has more people buying it. If only one gets produced, I'll be happy regardless of which is chosen.

I'll order one of each but prefer the Blue if we only go with one.

I'm crossing my fingers that we have enough people to actually do this. Crossing my toes the jersey is done in time for the Houston to ATX MS150.

Well, we're now at 9 total votes. Assuming some of those who voted for one would buy the other, I think we've got a pretty good chance.

I've sent out PMs to all individuals who posted in the design thread. I'd love to get enough votes to do an order of both as I believe that both jersey designs do a great job of representing the forum and the state. :)

man, I'll whichever one we end up going with but I really want one of Nathans - especially the version with the longhorn skull on the back painted TX colors - that's AWESOME!

Yes, the plan is to go with Champ-Sys.

I would like to get both designs ... dependent on cost.

If I just went with one it would be Nathans, but I will get one whichever design wins.

My only comments on design:

Nathans, make sure Bike Forums on sides reads correctly when you are bent over on the drops ... reverse of what is shown. Also I like symmetry, so if there is nothing else on back pockets I like state emblem on center.

Jons, again because of symmetry and to reduce the amount of similar sized lettering at the top, middle and bottom I would put the Don't Mess With Texas on two lines with smaller type on the right hand pocket in line with the other two pockets graphics.

Minor quibbles that you are both welcome to ignore ... excellent job both of you!

Get both! We're at 9 votes a piece, and there has been mention of some people wanting both if the count is close. Both designs are great, to the point its going to be difficult for me not to get one of both myself! :) Esp with the latest version of Nathans. ;)

chopper, orders will probably be placed shortly after the new year. I plan on letting the voting run through about the 28th or so. Then starting to accept payments.

Hmm interesting point...you are right he is a bit of a team kit guy. I know he has 3 or 4 teams worth of kit, Disco, Cofidis, Quick Step, Gerolstiner...that IllesBalears kit.

I've put rough cost calculations in the second post where I'm tracking votes. :) Hopefully I won't be far off and have to come begging for a couple extra $$'s to cover shipping. ;)

I like option one, but they are both great. One suggestion cudak: I would rotate the lettering around the star one letter clockwise. That way it matches up with the old texas flag with a similar design.

I REALLY like Nathan's second version!!! This is the one that I vote for. I will buy whichever one wins. I hope that we have enough interest so that we can get both designs made. If that is the case, put me down for one of each.

I like both except that im not a fan of too much light blue on Cuda's, but I do like the Bikeforums has the .net, unlike Nathan's but I like the dark blue and lots of red.

Which means if anyone else wants a different type of jersey (long sleeve, DownHill, sleeveless, etc) above and beyond the 10item minimum then there's no addional cost from champ-sys.

(And Joe wonders if we have enough traffic to deserve our own forum! ;))

Since the two designs are roughly equally popular, I decided to go ahead and cast a vote for the one I want. Sign me up for cuda2k's jersey please. :)

As long as I can get 10 orders for both jerseys paid for then both will be ordered. Right now it looks like Nathan's design is in the lead, but as long as those who voted go through with the order both should ordered. I'm hoping to have them delivered by late March so I can get them out to everyone in time for the MS150 at the end of April.

I propose that we all pitch in and pay for Joe's jersey. If we each add $2-3 dollars to our payment it should cover his. What do ya'll think?

I purchased a sleeveless SoCal jersey as part of the initial order. They just cut off the sleeves. I know another person that purchased a long sleeve jersey in the same order. Therefore, it is best to have the long sleeve jersey designed. Then they can cut off part of it for a short sleeve jersey, and the arms for the sleeveless jerseys...

Also,if people are going to way sleeveless then the shoulder flags will be lost...

The third one down looks great but all look pretty good to me.

I voted for option #2 but I am down with both options so I will buy whichever one wins.

I'm hope they have an Xtra Gut sizing. I remember 160... everyone thought I was tooo skinny. Now that I'm Clyde, no one can believe it.
