Foo - help me with my xbox

and no, im not rich enough to have a 360, this is regarding an "old school" unit haha.
anyways, sopmeone told me i can put my music on it, and when you play a game that has crappy music in the menu's, it will play whtaever you have stored in the memory. i know i can store music on it, but i dont know how to set it to play my songs. any help is good and stuff

Get a video card for your computer and play something else.

One of the guys I live with is really good at modding xbox's. He has a few of them, all with hard drives, upgrades, all networked together and stuff. I don't get it. They're basically just shi++y computers, but not as user friendly.

pop the cd you want the tracks from and it will burn it on to your hard drive. super easy. you canplay the music through your tv then or on the game that have the "Custom Soundtracks" option. not all, but most racing games will be able to play your music (like Forza and Need For Speed) but i cant think of an rpg that will let you use them. Halo doesnt.....*tears*

Hmmm...I figured it should be possible, but my Xbox doesn't recognize any audio CD I put in it. Anybody run into this?
