Brandy - those shades are hot! Check Ebay on occasion - I picked up my photochromic/polarized Rydons for a steal (relatively speaking) a little while back. It looks like the ones you want usually for around 100 or so? Here's one auction -

At $85 + shipping, it's not that big of a steal, but it's a starting point. I wouldn't have the patience to get them online - gotta have NOW!!! But you better get a replacement ipod for the one you stole from your kid first . . . ;)

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
a girlfriend riding Vivian II.

Oh, never mind. That will take too long. Let's skip to the end, shall we?

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
12 riding partners
11 types of energy bars
10 watts more power
9 mountains to climb
8 50 MPH descents
7 rolls of bar tape
6 BikeForums centuries
5 racing wheelsets!

4 cool new jerseys
3 race bikes
2 time trial bikes
and a girlfriend riding Vivian II :D

Thanks Luwin. I have checked around and NO ONE near here carries them. :( I was excited when we stopped into Nytro on the Burrito Century, because they had them...though not in the color I want. At least I got to try them on. :D

Hi,

To all of you who are wishing for or have Rudy Project shades, are they now using metal that won't corrode? I was lusting for and bought Rudy Project Kerosene glass with the Rx insert. Most expensive pair of riding glasses that I ever bought. Anyway, the rubber nose pads "melted" and all of the metal parts corroded (green "rust"). Eventually, one of the trim pieces fell off and I gave up trying to save the things (after two years of use). :( A firend of mine with the same glasses had the same kind of problems. Swore I would never buy another Rudy Project eye wear product again.

(BTW, I don't think that I'm an overly corrosive individual.)

That was about 2 years ago. Are their glasses holding up better these days?

Cleave, I have a rudy project, but it's only a few months old so no signs of wear. I'll keep this in mind.

Jason, your true love gave you a girlfriend riding Vivian II? :D

At this time I have a few big ticket items that I'd like to get, but I'm still holding back... mtb frame ($500), PS3 ($600), DSLR ($1000), computer ($1500)... Man, I feel so materialistic. :p

You betcha, your order is all set and waiting for you at Two Wheeler Dealer in Brea

Just walk in, find your size & model, and just ride it out of the store, No need to talk to staff (they are busy helping other customers). If they scream at you, they are just wishing you a Merry Christmas. Show them how appreciative you are by riding faster,

Turns out I am mailing you something today but it isn't for you, although can pretend it is.

But I am waiting delivery for it and then run it to the Post Office. Post Office shouldn't be crowded this week should it?

wish list.... (although I am going to look at the car tomorrow night...)

and after dropping 25k on the car, I am not sure that my wallet will like for me to drop another 12k on a bicycle... that would take money out of my beer/women/entertainment fund...

Methinks if I went looking for a 'Lesbian Triplets' DVD, I'd find something rather different...but it might still incude a bicycle...or riding, of some sort.
