Hello, I Am from So. California, and have just started riding. I have done mountain biking and many other sports, but due to injury anfter injury, I have decided to get into road biking. I have several family members that ride in centuries and such, and thought it seemed like a great way to stay in shape. I realized this is a port of pure indurance (I have run half marathons) and was in shock when my uncle (2x my age) whiped me like nothing else on the bike. I fell in love with it, and just got my first road bike. It is an '06 K2. It was in my price range and thought it was a great bike. I am looking forward to getting better (I have improved a good deal in just a few weeks). I am looking at all the other posts around this site, and can't wait to gain some of the wealth of knowlegde that is comming from other irders.
